Under renovation Saket’s DLF mall is expected to re-open around Diwali 2019
Real Estate firm – DLF’s mall in Saket, South Delhi is under reconstruction and renovation to remain relevant in the fast-changing shopping world. The mall is closed since February this year for the “rejuvenation”.
At present, DLF runs five malls in Delhi, NCR and Chandigarh, including the one in Saket. Saket mall contributes around Rs 350 crore of the total 3,000 crores from all the malls.
On the other hand, Mall of India in Noida alone contributes around Rs 1,500 crore in sales. After the “rejuvenation” of the Saket mall, it is expected to boost up sales fifty per cent higher than the present.
DLF Saket mall is sharing the same complex where Select Group’s Select Citywalk is situated. Select Citywalk is a mall which is associated with many ‘bridge-to-luxury’ brands, from which DLF Saket mall have to face stiff competition.
The mall is expected to reopen before Diwali 2019. The new mall is expected to be more futuristic in its interiors.
