Three co-founders quit Housing.com, plan to start new venture
NEW DELHI: A month after co-founder Advitiya Sharma left real estate portal Housing.com, three more founders Abhishek Anand, Ravish Naresh and Sanat Ghosh have put in their papers, according to Livemint.
Anand was the chief technology officer of Housing.com, Naresh was the chief executive officer of IREF (Indian Real Estate Forum), which was acquired by Housing.com last year, and Ghosh was the assistant vice-president of product.
The founders quit the company two weeks ago to start their own venture, the company confirmed through an email.
After the exit of chief executive officer Rahul Yadav in July last year, the company has made many top level changes. In November, Housing promoted Jason Kothari as chief executive officer. Other additions to its senior management team include Mani Rangarajan, chief financial officer; Nikhil Rungta, chief marketing officer; Nandini Mehta, general counsel; and Abhishek Hota, chief of staff.
Housing.com in January raised an additional Rs 100 crore in funding from Japan’s SoftBank. The company had raised $90 million in a round led by Softbank in December 2014.
The company has recently scaled down its listings and rentals, commercial properties, short stays and land businesses and increased its focus on home buying and selling business.
