Recently, India ranked third in the list of most sustainable spaces in the world, which was released by US. Green Building Council (USGBC), and K Raheja Corp contributes a noteworthy share of 11.42 million sq ft to the total green commercial office spaces.
Over the years, K Raheja Corp has successfully completed 29 LEED-certified buildings across India. A considerable 3.89 million sq ft of its commercial green building is registered with LEED. With the efforts of Chandru Raheja, an active proponent in the green space, the buildings by K Raheja Corp have been certified in the certified in the categories of Gold, Silver and Platinum.
K Raheja Corp has also been recognized with awards by several prestigious forums, including the ‘Sustainable Building Award – 2016’, United Kingdom, ‘Outstanding Contribution for Green Building Footprint in India – Green Co Summit’, ‘Africa Sustainability Awards’, ‘The Ingersoll Rand International Energy Efficiency Leader Award’, and Green Apple Award, United Kingdom.
