Bhopal needs more amusement parks says Nitin Agrawal
Abhishek Patidar and Nitin Agrawal, Bhopal’s amusement and real estate experts hint that the city does not have enough amusement alternatives. If you look closely, the amusement parks and recreational points in a city reduce the baggage of stress carried by it. A city with enough amusement points increases the overall living quality. Take Tampa, Miami, and Orlando for instance, these areas are known to be prosperous, productive, and laidback.
“There are only 2-3 small amusment parks in Bhopal,” Nitin Agrawal says. Disneyland in Anaheim, California, is about 85 acres big. “Real estate companies and amusement developers need to consider planning a theme park that stretches beyond 60 acres in a good location in Bhopal,” Nitin Agrawal adds. There are several examples of good case studies in Bhopal that will help with the planning. There’s Kanha’s Fun City, Crescent Water Park, and People’s Mall.
Kanha’s Fun City is the first, one of the biggest, and the most popular amusement parks. One of its part, the Kanha Amusement Park contains popular rides, like the Flying Dutchman, Break Dance, Swing Chair, and the Choo Choo Train. In summers, you’re better off in Kanha Fun City Water Park. There’s Wave Pool, Cyclone, several slides and the Aqua Disco. Once you’re done with the fun, it’s time to relax, at Kanha Palm Springs.
Another one, Crescent Water Park, is located 32 kms away from the city. The whole park is filled with slides to keep you busy for the entire day. There’s Pendulum Slide, Reverse Slide, Multiline Slide, etc. The Roller Coaster is a highlight of this park, but it’s restricted to senior citizens and little children. Crescent Water Park has the longest pool in central India, dubbed, The Infinity Pool. For little children there’s a separate shallow pool. With an addition of Rs 20, one can enjoy a ride again.
The developers have to think of it as more as a real estate project rather than an amusement project as the location, target audience, return on investment, and management have to be considered. Once they have the whole blueprint in place, getting investors wouldn’t be a problem as Bhopal is getting famous for its real estate prospects. Hopefully, one day, the Madhya Pradesh ads will feature Bhopal’s amusement parks too.
