Asset Homes to launch Rs 1,000 crore worth projects
The Kerala-based realty major Asset Homes is launching 12 projects in the state valued over Rs 1000 crore this year, taking the total number of projects implemented by the company to 80.
Asset Homes managing director V Sunil Kumar said the new projects will include a healthcare cum residential hub in association with global healthcare chain BR Life group at SUT hospital campus in Thiruvananthapuram and an affordable housing project of about 850 apartments near Kochi.
The company which posted 35% rise in its turnover to around Rs 300 crore in 2015-16 from a year earlier, has completed 43 projects while 24 are at various stages of completion. ” We are the only builder to have Crisil 7 star ratings for three projects including one for villa project in Kalamassery,” Sunil Kumar said.
Asset Homes which is looking to start its first overseas venture in Sri Lanka has also launched a new customer initiative for the first time in the country that offers 17 services to its customers. The bouquet of services include 25 years free insurance coverage for villas, free stay at company’s guest houses in select cities, utlility payment and medical care and ambulance services.
As part of assessing the possibilities of Asset Homes in its reconstruction activities after the civil war, a high level of ministerial delegation of Sri Lankan government had visited the company’s headquarters in Kochi and couple of its construction sites.
