3 day property expo in Nashik sees 15,000 visitors
NASHIK: The three-day property exhibition organised by the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Association of India (CREDAI) held at the Chopda Lawns along Gangapur Road attracted close to 15,000 visitors and it may generate sales of 140flats worth Rs 40 crore in the next few months.
The exhibition also got spot bookings of 35 flats worth Rs 5 crore in last three days. Around 35 builders and developers showcased 107 residential projects with over 7,000 flats to visitors.
Speaking to TOI, Sunil Kotwal, President, CREDAI Nashik, said, “Our objective was to give 35 builders and developers across the city the opportunity to showcase their properties to those willing to buy real estate. The visitors also had direct dialogue with builders which helped clear their doubts and helped them in buying the home of their dreams in their ideal locations.” He added, “The exhibition helped us to convert buyers on the verge of buying homes, into bookings”.
Kotwal said, “We got 35 spot bookings worth Rs 5 crore during the three-day expo and we are expecting the sale of over 100 flats worth Rs 35 crore. Moreover, we also created data bank of 15,000 visitors along with their budget and locations of their choice. We will forward this data to all our association members so that they can convert these enquirys into bookings.”
Khuzem Merchant, GM, Suyojit Infrastructure, said, “We are developing a township of 3,500 flats here. We have started booking flats in our project and we got close to 150 genuine enquiries during the expo. We have planned their site visits during next few days.” He added, “We hope to convert at least 20% of these enquires into bookings in a few months.”
